Jake Alexander: Why I'm Buying Intel (INTC) Stock

Here is the link.

In this video, I'm going to explain my reasoning behind buying Intel (INTC) stock. The purpose of this video is not to convince others to agree with me, rather to explain my thought process behind the investment, to hopefully provide educational value.

This video will break down my thesis and reasoning behind buying Intel stock, in my view, it is essentially a value/recovery play that is definitely a bit speculative. INTC stock: Intel Stock Getting Crushed! | Is INTC Stock A Buy? | Intel Earnings Analysis

 Here is the link.

Intel (INTC) stock is absolutely getting crushed! Q2 earnings and now Q3 earnings. But why? Is Intel a buy right now? In this video I go over the reasons why I am bullish on the stock going into Q4 and into 2021. I am still holding my 1000 shares in my TD Ameritrade account and 100 shares in my Dividend portfolio. The biggest reason this stock sold off this quarter was mostly due to the DCG EG segment where enterprise and government revenue dropped off by more than 47%. This was a complete surprise. That said, it looks like they have some tailwinds going into Q4 and into 2021. In addition, it also looks like they will make a decision on the 7nm chip issue. I'm bullish the stock and will likely buy some more in the dividend portfolio. I continue to play covered call options in my TD Ameritrade spec account as well. I hope Q4 is better news and gets treated by Wall Street better. This stock is insanely cheap right now IMO.

INTC equity research: Brian Krzanich, Intel Ex-CEO

I like to spend 10 minutes to read about wiki article.

Career[edit]

Intel[edit]

Krzanich began working as a process engineer at Intel's chip factory in New Mexico in 1982.[6][9][10] He became manager of a fabrication plant in Chandler, Arizona, in 1996, and later supervised assembly and testing facilities. He held management roles within Intel's manufacturing division,[11] managed a plant in Massachusetts,[5] and began overseeing the company's factories and supply chains in 2007.[6][9][12] Intel removed conflict minerals from its microprocessors while Krzanich was in charge of the company's supply chain.[13][14] He cited moral obligation as the reason to take action, and said the issue was "very important and personal" to him.[15][16] Intel worked to use conflict-free minerals for all microprocessors by 2014 and all products by 2016, and Krzanich was included in the documentary film Merci Congo (2016).[17][18][19]

In January 2012, Krzanich was promoted to the role of chief operating officer.[6][9][12] He led Intel's China strategy in this role.[7][20]

Krzanich served as chief executive officer (CEO) of Intel starting in May 2013.[6][9][21] In this role, Krzanich has been credited for expanding Intel's offerings beyond central processing units (CPUs) and into other technologies, including 5G wireless networks, artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles,[22][23] cloud computing, drones, and wearables.[9][12][24][25] Intel has also explored artificial, augmented, and virtual reality,[26][27] as well as machine learning, during his tenure.[28][29]

In January 2015, he announced Intel's $300 million Diversity in Technology initiative to support the company's goal to achieve full representation of women and underrepresented minorities in Intel's U.S. workforce by 2020, and accelerate diversity and inclusion across the technology industry at large. These activities include funding engineering scholarships at historically black colleges and universities, establishing a professional gaming women's team, and sponsoring female students to attend game developer conferences in partnership with the International Game Developers Association.[30][31][32] In addition to Intel's Diversity in Technology initiative, the company's Hack Harassment campaign has worked to address cyberbullying with Krzanich as CEO.[33][34]

During the Goldman Sachs Systematic Investing Conference, former Alphabet chair Eric Schmidt discusses the future of AI – from the impact of voice on the healthcare industry to advisory applications in finance. He also emphasizes the cloud as a cybersecurity safeguard and gives his advice for aspiring leaders.

On the future of computing: “I have always been skeptical that there would be any one next user interface. I think that a more likely model of computing is that computing, if you will, disappears. It just becomes part of our environment.”

On the threat of computers “taking over”: I think a more likely outcome ...is [that] the [computer] system becomes “savant systems” – where they use their ability to see very deeply, to see everything, things that humans can’t do, and then they offer choices and scenarios. They offer advice.  And then the human goes, ‘Wow.’”

On the tech industry’s war for talent: “I think you’re seeing the difference between supply and demand play out. But the fact of the matter is - we have very good news. Computer science is now the number one major in essentially all of the top universities. I call this the ‘Mark Zuckerberg Effect.’”

2021 plan: How to build wealth?

 January 1, 2020

Introduction

I like to think about more than three ideas how to build wealth in 2021. I was purchased hundreds of time on stocks in 2020, but I did not know to buy low and hold, and sell it more than 50% at the end of December, 2020. I like to think about three more ideas how to build wealth.

At least three ideas

I think that I should invest time to learn more about business, one of ideas is to watch at least 100 videos of CNBC videos - interviews with CEO for US business.

I like to spend at least 10 hours to watch interviews related to AI. I need to learn more and so I can think better in terms of business.

Equity research: Always purchase at 12 months lowest point

 January 1, 2020

Introduction

It is the first time in my life that I start to invest hundreds of hours to do equity research, and learn more about business. Specially I decided to invest on stocks by myself starting from June 2020. I like to think about the small research topic called why I did not learn the importance to purchase those equities in 12 months low around Oct. 2020.

My research

I like to look into a few areas my equity research, I was in pandemic and did not know too much about pricing in stock market, how market swings anyway it likes.

I did not have any investment income from 2010 to 2019 in Canada, and finally I figured out it was wrong. I started to invest on stock market those IRA and 401 K, and my last 10 years savings.

Bank of America Head of Digital Banking: Moving to Mobile | Mad Money | CNBC

Jim Cramer sits down with the head of Bank of America's digital banking unit to get an inside look into where one of the largest banks in the country sees mobile banking headed.

1.4 billion login / Bank of America

The rise of digital peer-to-peer payment services in the banking world is paving the way to a new, cashless reality, Bank of America's Head of Digital Banking, Michelle Moore, told CNBC. "We would like to get cash out of the system," Moore said in an interview with "Mad Money" host Jim Cramer. "It needs to be about security [and] ease." Bank of America is a leader in mobile and online banking, with 33 million digital customers including over 21 million mobile banking app users. Moore told Cramer that Bank of America saw 1.4 billion mobile logins just in the first quarter, which amounts to about 100 million logins a week. "The secret is understanding what our customers want," Moore said. "We listen to them and we give them what they want, not what we want." With 16 million U.S. households now using some type of voice-activated device, Moore's department has turned its focus to voice, developing its own artificial-intelligence-enabled assistant called Erica. "We have 65 million customers," Moore said. "How do we help them live their daily lives, give them information about bills [that] are coming due or how to better improve your FICO score?" A play on its namesake — the last five letters of Bank of America — Erica was rolled out in 2016. Today, the assistant can interact via voice and text message to help customers with specific financial needs, Moore said. Creating one large, easy-to-use payment ecosystem seems to be item one on Moore's agenda. While she maintained that "nothing can replace the human interaction" at a bank branch, she acknowledged that services like digital mortgage applications are becoming essential for Bank of America's changing customer base. Bank of America has spent $1 billion on building out digital banking service like these in the last six years. The effort has resulted in products like the digital mortgage app, which takes roughly 20 minutes and cuts a process that once took months down to a matter of days. "The world is moving to mobile," Moore told Cramer. "I have a fabulous group of technology partners, and together, we build everything that you see that comes out in the mobile app. My angle is all about the client experience. How easy is it to use? Big buttons, beautiful design. Is it so intuitive that anyone can use it?"

INTC stock: Intel (INTC) Stock Analysis - Stock Down BIG Again! Time To Buy Intel?

 Here is the link.

Disclosure: I am long AAPL which is mentioned in the video. On today's video we take a look at #Intel #INTC #Stock - which reported earnings on Thursday. The Q3 report was almost like a deja-vu of Q2 where the stock gapped down hard after the report was released. We take a look at the numbers and see how bad they really were. Then we jump over to the stock chart and see what levels make sense for buying Intel shares. We actually successfully swing traded this one last time it gapped down this much, so we're going to try and repeat that again this quarter.

Swing trade: $47 - $50

Resistance level - break down $47

Dividend - 2.9, not like AT&T 7.0%

In this video we are analysing #Intel #INTC - It was reported yesterday that Billionaire Investor Dan Loeb had acquired $1bn worth of INTC Stock through his Hedge Fund Third Point, making it his largest position and around 10% of his Portfolio.

We will be looking at Why he has bought so much INTC Stock and Create a DCF Valuation to see if INTC is undervalued. One thing I forgot to mention in the video is: If you think Buy Backs can't be used to Financially Engineer Stock Performance, look at Apple from 2016 as an example. Real Revenue and Earnings have hardly grown, but as Apple produces so much Cash Flow, it has been able to buy back huge amounts of Stock, increasing the EPS and FCF per share, by lowering the Shares Outstanding. This also lead to the Market Multiple expanding, due to bullishness around EPS growth. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1kMjm... Link to view the DCF Model and IRR Calculation

INTC stock: Intel soars 8% after activist hedge fund Third Point urges chipmaker to explore strategic alternatives

 Here is the link.

Intel surged as much as 8% on Tuesday after activist hedge fund Third Point sent a letter to the chipmaker urging it to explore strategic alternatives, according to Reuters.

Third Point, run by billionaire investor Daniel Loeb, has amassed a nearly $1 billion stake in Intel, Reuters reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

According to the letter, which was reviewed by Reuters, Third Point is calling for immediate action from Intel Chairman Omar Ishrak to boost the company's position as a major provider of processor chips for PCs and data centers.

"Without immediate change at Intel, we fear that America's access to leading-edge semiconductor supply will erode, forcing the US to rely more heavily on a geopolitically unstable East Asia to power everything from PCs to data centers to critical infrastructure and more," the letter said.
