From January 2015, she started to practice leetcode questions; she trains herself to stay focus, develops "muscle" memory when she practices those questions one by one. 2015年初, Julia开始参与做Leetcode, 开通自己第一个博客. 刷Leet code的题目, 她看了很多的代码, 每个人那学一点, 也开通Github, 发表自己的代码, 尝试写自己的一些体会. She learns from her favorite sports – tennis, 10,000 serves practice builds up good memory for a great serve. Just keep going. Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard.

Adding PHP to WordPress: How to Add Code into Any Post or Page
Here is the article.
Looking to know how to run PHP code on a WordPress post or page? You’ve come to the right place. Here, we will uncover how to add PHP to a WordPress page or post so you can improve their functionality.
Reasons to Add PHP Code to WordPress Post or Page
By default, WordPress doesn’t allow you to run PHP code in posts or pages. The recommended way to add PHP functions is to modify the child theme or create custom page templates.
Despite so, there are occasions where you might want to add specific PHP functions to an individual post or page. In these cases, you can override the rule using WordPress code widget plugins.
The following tutorial will guide you through the process of using the Insert PHP Code Snippet plugin to add PHP code directly to a WordPress post or page.
How to Add PHP Code to WordPress Post or Page Using a Plugin
Before diving into the tutorial, make sure you have installed and activate the Insert PHP Code Snippet plugin. Check this tutorial for thorough instructions on how to install a WordPress plugin and activate it properly.
- From your WordPress dashboard, navigate to XYZ PHP Code -> PHPCode Snippets.
- In the PHP Code Snippets page, click Add New PHP Code Snippet. Add your desired PHP function and its tracking name to the appointed boxes. In this example, we will add the date() function that returns the local date and time. Then, click Create.
- If the process is successful, a confirmation message and the new function will appear on the screen. For future use, make sure all the PHP functions you want to use are active by checking the Action section. Active code snippets will show a green pause symbol while inactive ones will have a green checkmark next to them.
- To add a PHP code to a WordPress post or page, paste the snippet shortcode of the function you want to use in the desired location. If you’re using the Gutenberg block editor, use the shortcode or code block to display it.
- That’s it! Your newly created post should execute the PHP code like the following example:
Conclusion
Just because WordPress doesn’t allow you to run PHP code in a post or page, it’s not impossible to do so. Using WordPress code widget plugins, you can add various PHP functions to your posts or pages easily.

- Identify and eliminate the factors that lead to friction in message sending and receiving paths in Messenger and Instagram Apps. My team created, maintain, and improve a tracing system, which provides a single persistent trace from when the user hits the send button to when they receive a "Message Sent" receipt. This provides a user-centric approach to monitoring the current health and performance of the messaging platform across the Family of FB Apps. By providing this service on a random sample of all message sends across the world, we do reverse-engineering to debug regressions that occur in the messaging experience.Identify and eliminate the factors that lead to friction in message sending and receiving paths in Messenger and Instagram Apps. I interned at Amazon as Applied Scientist in 2021 and Bell Labs, Nokia as Researcher in 2020.
Book: Probably Approximately Correct: Nature's Algorithms for Learning and Prospering in a Complex World
Valiant's 2013 book is Probably Approximately Correct: Nature's Algorithms for Learning and Prospering in a Complex World.[16] In it he argues, among other things, that evolutionary biology does not explain the rate at which evolution occurs, writing, for example, "The evidence for Darwin's general schema for evolution being essentially correct is convincing to the great majority of biologists. This author has been to enough natural history museums to be convinced himself. All this, however, does not mean the current theory of evolution is adequately explanatory. At present the theory of evolution can offer no account of the rate at which evolution progresses to develop complex mechanisms or to maintain them in changing environments."
Leslie Gabriel Valiant
Leslie Gabriel Valiant FRS[4][5] (born 28 March 1949) is a British American[6] computer scientist and computational theorist.[7][8] He was born to a chemical engineer father and a translator mother.[9]He is currently the T. Jefferson Coolidge Professor of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics at Harvard University.[10][11][12][13] Valiant was awarded the Turing Award in 2010, having been described by the A.C.M. as a heroic figure in theoretical computer science and a role model for his courage and creativity in addressing some of the deepest unsolved problems in science; in particular for his "striking combination of depth and breadth".[6]
The Coquihalla Snowshed Protocol: 10 Steps to Highway Safety
Here is the article.
BC Highway 5 from Hope to Merritt (also known as the Coquihalla or “the Coq”) is a busy transportation corridor through a high mountain pass, and because of this high elevation, the Coquihalla can experience periods of heavy snowfall. Don’t let that worry you though – our maintenance contractor for the route has a plan. It’s called “the Coquihalla Snowshed Protocol” and it’s every bit as important as it sounds. What exactly is the protocol and what does it mean to you? Read on friends.
Coquihalla Summit
Coquihalla Summit (el. 1,244 m or 4,081 ft) is a highway summit along the Coquihalla Highway in British Columbia, Canada.[1] It is the highest point on the highway between the cities of Hope and Merritt. It is located just south of the former toll booth plaza on the Coquihalla Highway, about 50 km (31 mi) north of Hope, and 65 km (40 mi) south of Merritt and is the divide between the Coquihalla River and the Coldwater River.
Coquihalla Summit is the Surrey Lake Summit[clarification needed] at 1,244 m (4,081 ft) and is the highest point on the Coquihalla, which goes from Hope to the Highway 1 interchange outside of Kamloops.
The ascent to the Coquihalla Summit is very steep, especially from the south, and is particularly steep north of the Great Bear snow shed. The pass is named after the Coquihalla River, from which the highway also derives its name. The Coquihalla Summit Recreation Area is located at the top of the pass on the Coquihalla Highway, approximately 45 km (28 mi) north of Hope.
