Ph.D. Thesis: Two-stage based Randomized algorithms for Covering Arrays
Most of the faults in working software arise from interaction between different components. Covering Arrays are mathematical designs that are used for designing tests for detection of such software interaction faults. In my thesis work I developed several new randomized constructions for Covering Arrays that not only established the best known bounds on their size, but also provided a two-stage based algorithmic framework for construction of Covering Arrays for practical purposes. The algorithms in this framework have improved the state of art in this domain in practice.
