Adrian Richard Finighan

 Adrian Richard Finighan (born 20 December 1964) is a Welsh journalist, working as a presenter and reporter for the television channel Al Jazeera English (AJE). He is now based at AJE's World headquarters in Doha but has also presented programmes from London.

Finighan's interest in broadcast news journalism began in his early teens. After leaving school, he was offered the chance to study 'on the job' for a recognised journalism qualification with the South Wales radio station where he had been working part-time since the age of 16.

After a period at a local radio station in Norwich, Finighan joined the BBC in 1988, working at BBC Local Radio as a reporter and producer. He later moved on to national radio, becoming a newsreader on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 2 and an occasional presenter of the latter station's overnight programmes in the final years when the station's newsreaders were used in this role.^[1] Subsequently, he moved into television news by joining the BBC's Business Unit, and also fronted Newsroom South East.^[2] He later became a regular presenter on international news channel BBC World News, as well as appearing on UK domestic counterpart, BBC News 24. He joined CNN International from the BBC in early 2006 and worked there until 2010. He also owns a company with his brother.

Finighan made a short appearance as a news anchor in the film V for Vendetta (2005).^[3]

Fun contest with a mix of data-structures and advanced math (number theory and graph theory). Managed to solved A,B,C,D,E,F and ranked high overall (ranked 1 locally), but could have been better.

Problem C was number theory dynamic programming with masks to store the prime divisors. Problem D was greedy string constructions. Unusually high difficulty level for a leetcode contest, but was fun. C only had a few hundred solvers (which is usually solved by 1000+ solvers).

Unable to registering SQL Server (MSSQL 2008 SP3) in SolarWinds DPA , we are getting below error.

While registering SQL Server in Solarwinds DPA, we are getting the below error.  

An unknown error has occurred. The provided message is "TLS_HANDSHAKE_FAILED: The server selected protocol version TLS10 is not accepted by client preferences [TLS13, TLS12]". 

Suggest that you:

1. If you haven't already, please follow the instructions in the Knowledge Base Article hyperlink referenced in the registration error wizard screen above
2. TLS 1.0 has been disabled by default (due to TLS 1.0 vulnerabilities) since DPA 2021.1.1 and later. Update your database's configuration to support TLS 2 or 3 connections.  (Optionally you could override DPA security and enable TLS 1.0. However, lowering security to 1.0 is never recommended). See this related article on disabling TLS 1.0.
