GLAZING CONTRACTOR & INSTALLER QUALIFICATION CHANGES Update your Specifications Today North American Contractor Certification (NACC) and Architectural Glass & Metal Technician (AGMT) Certification now provide ANSI-accredited, third-party credentials for glazing contractors and glazing technicians/installers (glaziers). Since the National Glass Association (NGA) ended its NGA Certified Glass Installer Program, AGMT provides the ONLY comparable substitute. NACC and AGMT are North America’s ONLY glazing certification programs.
Quality Assurance Installer Qualifications: A qualified glazing contractor for this project who is certified under the North American Contractor Certification Program (NACC) for Architectural Glass & Metal (AG&M) contractors and who employs glazing technicians and/ or glass installers who are certified under the Architectural Glass & Metal Technician (AGMT) certification program OR a glazing contractor that can provide the following:
- Five (5) years of glazing co. ownership and experience
- Written references to demonstrate evidence of successfully completed similar projects
- A formal Safety Program documented in writing
- A formal Quality Manual documented in writing
- Resume and qualifications for a Quality Manager
