  Apologies, Jianmin, in this case, you would want to reach out to Scotiabank instead as they are the party that holds your assets. They would be the best to answer these inquiries. Typically though, trade settlement happens in 2 business days at Questrade and broker to broker transfers typically take 10 -20 business days.

• No worries! At Questrade, if you were to be charged any transfer fees from your previous financial institution, we at Questrade would rebate up to $150 CAD or USD equivalent of the transfer fees to you.

• You can simply apply for the transfer fee rebate by uploading an account statement from your previous financial institution showing these transfer fees to my.questrade.com > Account management > Upload documents.

  Once uploaded, Jianmin, please feel free to reach out to us again either via chat or call and an agent such as myself would go through that account statement with you and place the rebate request on your behalf. This would be done in 7-10 business days.
