What if SPX loses 90% value in coming recession?

Introduction

It is hard for me to work on this topic. If SPX loses 90% in one year, two year or three years, then what should I work on my TFSA account?

I just set up my TFSA account and deposited $65,000 dollars. 50% is in equity fund, in other words, $33,000 dollars are in equity fund.

If SPX will lose 90% of value, then I should not rebalance when SPX drops 20% or 30%. I should wait more drop instead.

The idea is to reduce risk to lose more value in future uncertain market.
