Introduction
It is hard for me to learn so many things during pandemic, and I spent so many hours to learn US economy and how I should learn to work on my own IRA account.
My story | time line
I did personal finance research starting from Nov. 2018 and then decided to get back in stock market using my IRA account; I remotely closed my IRA account with New York community bank from 1998 to 2019 21 years, and I transferred the capital around $19,000 dollars to Ameritrade.com. The interest I earned is around $5000 dollars over 15 years.
I chose to invest on three ETFs, one is SP 500 index ETF.
After one year growth of SP 500 index over 10%, 30% SP 500 ETF, the balance is over $20,000 dollars before market crashed in March 2020.
The market crashed over 20% in three days in a row, SP 500 index biggest drop in the history.
I did have some rebound in my account, and then I did purchase over $10,000 US dollars stocks first time in last 10 years, after less than $3000 oil stock dollars purchase just after market crash in March 2020.
I did learn short squeeze, and then had gain on CTRM over $4000, EXPR over $2000, NAKD over $1200 in first half year of 2020. So the balance was over $29,000.
Another market crash around Nov. 2021 was so serious, I had to learn how to survive in long term. I did see the trend downward. I sold biotech stocks gray and all others. The balance is around $24599.99, lowest value in last three month.
I did invest on RIG stock and then I recovered some loss around $600 dollars, and the balance went up around $26,500 dollars.
