PSFE stock: My analysis and lessons learned

Actionable Items

I like to take the approach to cut loss, and then document each purchase, cut loss, buy dip and sell at catalyst using Yahoo ->Finance.

So there are more transactions in last two months.
  1. Purchase 1500 shares at dip around $4.4, PSFE-001-BuyDip
  2. Cut loss with loss around ($300), maybe, PSFE-002-cutLoss
  3. Buy dip after two weeks, PSFE-003-dip, around $3.1, PSFE-003-BuyDip2
  4. Sell at catalyst, 13% gain around $4.39, PSFE-004-gain1, CEO made purchase more than million dollar PSFE stocks;
  5. After one week, buy dip again 1500 shares or with more shares since PSFE stock went down over 10% around $3.4/ share.
  6. Try to understand how business works around PSFE stock.
  7. Every step ask questions, do some analysis. Try it out. Time is the money.
  8. Do nothing is not good strategy from Nov. 4 to Jan 11, 2022.
More detail:
  1. Dec. 6, $3.16/ share, lowest price after purchase, $4.4 -> $3.16, 1500 shares;
  2. Dec. 8, CEO made purchase million dollar PSFE stocks, the price went up from $3.82 -> $4.39
  3. More on the above step 2, it takes some time to think about speculating, the price would dip after the news of CEO PSFE stock purchase. Decide to sell <- this is proactive that PSFE stock will drop, no fundamental change.
  4. Dec. 8 to Dec. 15, the price dropped from $4.39 to $3.49
  5. Jan. 4, 2022, new year, market risk - uptrend, the stock price went from $3.49 to $4.37
  6. Jan. 10, 2022, the low price was $3.65, range $3.65 to $3.9
