      • Identify and eliminate the factors that lead to friction in message sending and receiving paths in Messenger and Instagram Apps. My team created, maintain, and improve a tracing system, which provides a single persistent trace from when the user hits the send button to when they receive a "Message Sent" receipt. This provides a user-centric approach to monitoring the current health and performance of the messaging platform across the Family of FB Apps. By providing this service on a random sample of all message sends across the world, we do reverse-engineering to debug regressions that occur in the messaging experience.
