Introduction

It is my favorite quote related to knowing the value of money. I like to write the value of money by spending one week holiday break at home in 2018.

Case study

I spent time from Dec. 25 to January 1 in the city of Vancouver and also like to practice how to save money, doing personal finance research.

I did not go to any party or host any party. I drove less than 10 miles, I spent less than 100 dollars on grocery.

$15.00 dollar for a chicken
$10 dollar for lamb bone
$40 dollars for grocery of vegetables

I spent less than $100 dollars to celebrate Christmas and New year. I even skipped new year dinner to keep myself focus on personal finance research.

I learn the value of $100 dollars for a holiday, I think that I made good choice for me to learn personal finance.
