Don't own this stock (yet) but I am a customer of their services and I do believe that American Express (AXP) is doing a very good job of presenting themselves as sort of a more prestigious version or Visa and Mastercard. I'm sure you've heard of the famous American Express Centurion Card (aka "the black card") and overall I just think that American Express is very effective at appealing to a more affluent customer base. Definitely a stock that I am interested in buying if there's some sort of major price drop.
