The goal of money is for you to feel safe and secure.

The goal of money isn't to buy things. It's to provide for your safety and security.

Most of Philippines use money to buy things. Buy things you cannot afford, impress people you do not know even you do not like.

Three obstacles to wealth:
fear, shame, and anger

You gave all the money away to your mother, sister, aunt, and employer or employee. Why you are anger? It is your culture. To give everything away, that is culture. I cannot afford to give my money away. I could not tell me if I can afford. 

Your culture is the one starting from change. 

Only your parents. Not your brother and sister. Say no. Save for yourself first. 
Who will take care of them. 

One of your attract for money - stay true. 
Say yes out of fear - Doing them in favor. 
Fear, fail and shame. 
A nation of savers versus a nation of spenders. 

Lack of knowledge. Do something you do not understand. 
Learn what is available for you in your country. 
Debt is bondage, so your first step of action to get on the road to wealth is to get out of debt. 

Two packs of money:
Savings - for emergencies, doesn't have to earn
Investments - real estate, index funds

Start to invest yourself, no advantage in owning dollars, put your money in pesos.

If it makes you feel afraid, don't do it. 
If it makes you feel powerless and you're watching interest rates, don't do it.
