My onsite short highlights - August 20, 2019

August 24, 2019

One of tasks is to write down the review, short highlights of my onsite interview with Facebook.

Short review

I learned that I wrote buggy code for rotated sorted array, index-out-of-range error in my last interview; I did ok with the scientist, PH.D., on graph search algorithm, serialization extended algorithm, the third interview; and then I did ok with the second system design, since I showed up prepared on system design interview, with notes of structure system design written down a piece of paper. I talked about functional requirement, non-function requirement, requirement not discussed.

Executable code is the goal. I thought about culture fit, my background, and one way is to make the algorithm and data structure problems harder. This will be last chance I can compete the job since all others will go for domain knowledge, not problem solving skills interview.
