Introduction
It is Canada day. I like to celebrate the holiday and share my mistakes. I like to laugh but also I need to push myself to learn, and share with my wechat group as well.
SPX 3200 $12000 purchases
I made gains over $3000 US dollars on June 5, 2020. I was a beginner and then I boasted about it in my wechat group. I sold all ETFs and then bought stocks on highest positions.
As a beginner, I had over $4000 loss but I did not sell on March 20, 2020. But I was afraid to purchase, and I did not sell all my bonds, and then purchase those 90% loss OVV stock.
As a beginner, I need to push myself to learn how to deal with emotions. I understand that it is normal for me to be a beginner. It does not matter how hard I learn, if I do not purchase any stocks, and read about business, I have no clue what to do.
What I did from May 2019 to March 2020 is not acceptable for me as a researcher. I did not purchase any stocks, DOCU stock went up 30%, I got a phone screen, but I did not make any purchase, this year the stock went up 300%.
Track better my purchases
I start to work on documentation of my purchase using Yahoo finance portfolio.
