Three months recall: over $3000 dollar losses vs over $3000 dollars gains

Introduction

I started to purchase stocks by myself and learn the lesson of trading stocks, how volatile the stock is. I like to write a two-purchase story, and then make comparison. As a beginner, a lot of people like to learn the skills how to invest and learn business. 

June 8, 2020 - $13,000 US dollar purchase

I made purchase of stocks first time over $13,000 dollars and made over $1,000 dollars gains, but I did not sell and then most of stocks went down, and after more than 2 months, some stocks still have over 30% loss. I had over $3000 dollars losses, all my gains on June 5, 2020 are wiped out. I like to show my Ameritrade.com balance history. It shows the lesson for a beginner to learn what market price is.
