Position overview
We have a full-time opportunity for an innovative Senior Technical Analyst – Business Intelligence Developer in the IT Department. This role will be part of the Advanced Analytics team, helping to evolve and sustain our business intelligence practice in the areas of data warehouse and dashboard development. The incumbent is expected to have broad and deep technical and analytical ability within their area of responsibility as well as strong communication skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop strategies for all systems in assigned portfolio, including but not limited to enhancements, patching, security, upgrade, backup, and disaster recovery strategies, incorporating requirements from the business and other IT departments.
- Design, develop and maintain visually appealing business intelligence dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to various stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops and gather report requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into effective report applications.
- Responsible for management of all vendors that provide hardware, software, and / or consulting services for assigned systems and applications.
- Responsible for preparing technical documentations for support.
- Optimize the performance of dashboards and reports by fine tuning scripts, data models, and front-end design elements.
Key qualifications include:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent, or comparable education with minimum 7 years’ post degree experience working with data warehouse and developing business intelligence reports/dashboard using Qlik Sense and PowerBI.
- Knowledge and expertise with virtual server platforms, storage devices, cloud computing, relational databases and Data and Analytics.
- Good experience with data prep, data integration (ETL), data modeling, SQL and Python.
- Experience in project, vendor and relationship management including mentoring junior resources.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, from end users to Executive.
- Expert level knowledge of technologies underlying assigned systems as well as expert level of critical thinking, analytical skills and troubleshooting capability.

Salary Range: $97,599 to $127,555 per annum, based on 37.5-hour work week. This is individually tailored to reflect your unique experience, qualifications and internal equity.
