Sept. 17, 2020
Introduction
It is the first time I learn from my own mistakes. I do not have strong money management skills. I need to work on money management, all those bad habits also affect my stock investment. I like to write the topic called my big mistakes from March to Sept. 2020.
My big mistakes
I like to write my big mistakes, avoid big loss, my confidence or overconfidence, and my learning from practice.
First one is my biggest mistake, on August 31, 2020, I invested over $70,000 dollars Canadian oil stock, I did not set stop loss, I never did before. So my loss increased quickly from $1000 to $3000 to $6000 dollars.
Second one is my overconfidence. I invested 170 shares of Intel stocks, and then my loss is over $550 dollars in Sept. I bought high and sold low, 200 shares of Intel $22.50, and sold on $19.40.
I had over $700 dollars on Sabr stock. I bought at highest price around $10.00 dollars, the price went down around $7 dollars.
