Introduction
It is challenging for me to learn how to cut the cost to do maintenance. One of ideas is to drive minimum as possible.
When to change engine oil?
I choose to drive less than 3000 miles a year. One road trip to Seattle, maybe less than 10 trip to the city of Surrey. And then daily routine to the work in weekday, and weekend to tennis court or community center.
Prepare a check list
Change engine oil - 5000 KM
Coolant - change once every two years
Transmission oil - 2013 I did one change , 2015 I did one, $80 dollar cost
Brake - 30,000 - 40,000 KM
