Introduction
It is my gamble on 1000 share of SU.TO stocks. I bought back last Friday, but I tried to understand why SU.TO went down over 13.79% after August 31, 2020.
One of comments:
The fundamentals are clear for SU but what they need to do is cut the dividend completely and focus that 300-400 million in capital per quarter into stabilizing and growing while things are cheap and there is a chance to do it.
It is time for the board and management team to show some ingenuity. If this was presented well to the public and of course the pension funds/instuitional groups who love the dividend they would go for it easy. Everyone cares about capital gains more than dividend. Then bring the dividend back after and it's a win win and you get another boost in buy ins.
