标准普尔500指数在近20多年里的平均回报是8%多一点点，但波动如过山车一般。在这漫长的5000个交易日里，去掉其中最好的20个交易日，这个数字就变成4%左右了。再去掉20个，就是2%不到了。再去掉20个，直接变负数。因此建议选择指ETF而不是具体哪支股票，这样适合长期积累复利。我们听到了太多的“一年翻几倍”的例子，但要知道那些更多的“一年亏到底”的人是不会四处宣扬的。事关退休大计，还是稳妥些好。
