After a strong rebound from its April 7 low, the benchmark S&P 500 (SP500) has shown some signs of slowing momentum in June when compared to its strong performance in May with the index now wavering above and below the key 6,000 mark.

Now within 2.7% of its all-time high, the broader market’s rally has left a number of constituent stocks flashing technical warning signals.

According to Seeking Alpha, a closer look at the Relative Strength Index, a widely used momentum indicator, reveals that several S&P 500 components have entered extreme territory. An RSI reading above 70 typically signals that a stock may be overbought, while a reading below 30 suggests it could be oversold.
