Introduction
It is time for me to prepare a checklist, what I can learn more from the onsite interview. I like to move my focus away from myself, and then try to push myself to work on improvement during onsite. As I learn from a talk yesterday, system design interview is like giving out a tech talk, I have to learn how to cover more areas instead of pushing by the interviewer.
Think like a senior engineer
I should always ask clarifying questions. Ask more questions to show interesting, and also explore the algorithm or topic more carefully.
As I learn from the book talking about decision making, I should at least find more than one solution, and two solutions have less risk, three solutions should be perfect; more than three is waste of time. Three solutions will reduce the risk of mistakes, and then choose one of solutions to get into detail.
